Business Visas

Business visas are available for overseas applicants who wish to come to Australia either temporarily or permanently to setup a business or invest in Australia.

Business migrants are usually given a 4 year temporary visa in which time they must establish their business locally after which time they are issued with a permanent residence visa.

You can apply for independently or be sponsored by a state government or regional centre. If you are able to obtain a government or regional sponsor the visa criteria are slightly reduced. As each sponsor has different criteria they are not listed but we can assist you both in finding and applying for a government/regional sponsor.

Visa application costs are AUD$3360 for the temporary visa and AUD$4905 for the permanent visa. All applicants (including family) must pass a medical exam, character clearance (police check) and the main applicant must pass a skills certification. There is often a 3-6 month preparation period required prior to applying for these visas and we strongly suggest you contact us to discuss your circumstances.
